Frequently Asked Questions
Coming to a yoga class for the first time can feel daunting. Here are some of the questions you may have. For any others please feel free to contact me. Thank you.
Am I flexible enough?
Yes. Yoga is for every body. My classes are very mixed ability and I offer options for all the yoga poses I teach.
What do I wear?
Please wear comfortable, unrestrictive clothing. It is a good idea to wear layers as you may get warm and then cool down quickly in relaxation.
When do I arrive?
Arriving to class about 10 minutes early can give you time to find a space and settle in.
Can I eat before class?
It is best not to eat 2 hours before a class. Please bring a drink with you.
How often do I need to attend a class?
Practice as often as you can. Once a week is a great start.
Am I too old?
I teach people into their 80s. I believe that no age is too old to practice yoga and it is always beneficial.
What else do I need to know?
To be fully present in your practice, please turn your mobile phone off or onto silent. However, should you need it to remain on vibrate for emergencies, please let me know at the start of class.

If, for any reason, you are running late please try to let me know before the start of the class and I will leave a space by the door for you to settle in quietly without disturbing the class.

As per the Registration and Health Information form, if anything changes in your health circumstances please let me know prior to class.
