Agreement of Release and Waiver of Liability
I understand and acknowledge the fact that in Yoga as in other forms of exercise there are certain inherent risks. I voluntarily participate in the retreat yoga classes and other programs offered by Vayu Yoga Retreats and taught by Lisa Hands and Caroline Alexander and agree to assume full responsibility for all risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown which I might incur as a result of participating in said programs offered by Vayu Yoga Retreats.
I understand it is my responsibility to consult with my health care professional in regard to my participation the retreat yoga classes or other programs offered by Vayu Yoga retreats.
In registering for any event or service I release Vayu Yoga Retreats owners Lisa Hands and Caroline Alexander, as well as any person working as instructors teachers, mentors or volunteers from all liability and hold them harmless for any injury to me or my person, illness and for any damage or loss to my property incurred whether caused in or out of class by negligence or otherwise, finances or health.
A minimum deposit of £200 is required to book your place This deposit amount is non-refundable. Full payment of balance is due 12 weeks before the start date of the retreat.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation:
Your deposit is non-refundable.
If you cancel prior to 12 weeks before the start of the retreat, no further charge applies.
If you cancel with less than 12 weeks to go before the start of the retreat and we are then able to fill your space, you will receive a refund of the balance amount you have paid, less £100 admin charge.
If you cancel with less than 12 weeks to go before the start of the retreat and we are then unable to fill your space, you will not receive a refund.
Please make sure you get travel insurance at the time of booking should you need to cancel your space at this retreat you may be eligible to claim this on your travel insurance.
In the unlikely event that Vayu Yoga Retreats would need to cancel, you will be refunded all money paid to Vayu Yoga Retreats up to the date of cancellation. No responsibility can be taken for travel booked or any other costs incurred.
This does not cover you for:
Participant deciding to no longer come
Any other expenses incurred by the participant in the event of cancellation, including but not limited to travel costs, insurance costs etc. It is expected that participants to events will have adequate personal insurance to cover all eventualities that might occur.
With the exceptions above all normal terms and conditions as laid out below will apply: Cancellation beyond control of Vayu Yoga Retreats. In the event of Force Majeure, pandemics, FCO travel restrictions, venue failure, unforeseen circumstances that hinders, delays, curtails or leads to cancellation of any events, Vayu Yoga Retreats will not be liable for any costs incurred or to repay any monies received. Participants will be expected to claim under their individual insurance. This includes but is not limited to, severe weather, acts of terrorism, disease epidemics, government actions, natural disasters, war, strikes, and failure of 3rd parties such as venues/caterers to provide their services.
