Snowdrops and Imbolc 🌱

For me, snowdrops are beautiful and I just love to see them, they remind me how wonderful Mother nature is. For even though it's cold, new growth is going on all around us...
Imbolc is a celebration on 1st/2nd February it's the time to honour the delicate signs and first stirrings and new growth of spring. A celebration of cleansing and new beginnings.
Celebrating the goddess Brigid - the mother goddess of healing, fire and fertility.
A reminder we are halfway between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.
Can you feel it in the air? The birds are a little busier singing in the mornings and evenings and the sun a little warmer with the gradual returning of the light.
Moving from the more yin energy of winter towards the more yang energy as we move forward to Spring. Although it's still cold we can feel Mother Earth reminding us that Spring is on its way...
Thank you so much for sharing the wisdom of nature always inherently aligned and encouraging. I have been noticing about couple of weeks how brighter the green on leaves, longer days and the new springs from bulbs.
Its like magic! Nature wakes up on time. All the winter trees with buds more prominent. I know its too much details but more we observe and notice, absolutely enticing they are. New every time, every day, every morning, every season.
